Citrix Systems Inc. said it acquired XML security vendor QuickTree for its compiler technology and Java API for XML processing.

Citrix Systems has announced that it has acquired XML security vendor QuickTree, to address security and performance challenges of XML and Web services. QuickTree, a small privately-held software vendor, develops XML security engines for XML threat defense and access control.
